Meet & Greet customers

Answer sales questions

Lube tech experience required

Experience can include oil changes, basic maintenance, or minor repair work

Knowledge of shop equipment (wheel/tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostics, AC equipment, etc)

Team-oriented, customer service-focused

Automotive professional certification preferred

On-Call Dealer Trade Driver

Job Description

The Dealer Trade Driver is responsible for delivering vehicles to Brown Chevrolet dealership safely and on time. The Dealer Trade Driver communicates with Sales staff.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that vehicle identification numbers and stock numbers of each vehicle match paperwork.
  • Ensure copies of dealer invoice accompany paperwork for each vehicle.
  • Ensure that the vehicle being traded is clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.
  • Notify Sales Manager if any damage is found on the vehicle being traded.
  • Ensure all reference guides, keys, wheel locks, etc., accompany all traded vehicles and deliver this information to the appropriate manager when the trade is complete.
  • Newly traded vehicles must be thoroughly inspected, inside and out, before accepting delivery from the dealership.
  • If damage is found (e.g. scratches, door dings, etc.), contact the Sales Manager on duty before leaving their lot. DO NOT return with a damaged vehicle unless you have notified the Sales Manager.
  • Note any missing keys, books, wheel locks, floor mats, etc. Make every effort to ensure these items accompany the appropriate vehicle. Always make sure accessories that are listed are in fact on the vehicle.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Effective communicator.
  • 18 years or older.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Cell phone.
  • GPS or ability to follow printed map/directions.
  • Vehicle insurance.
  • Helpful if you have experience with vehicle trailers and towing.
